Abstract
[Objective]To analyze the serum thyroid hormone level in patients with breast cancer,explore its correlation with tumor markers and its predictive value for tumor metastasis.[Methods]Ninety-eight patients with breast cancer admitted to Pingdingshan First People's Hospital from February 2019 to July 2022 were selected as subjects.All of them underwent radical surgery for breast cancer.According to the tumor metastasis within 6 months after surgery,they were divided into 32 cases of metastatic group and 66 cases of non-metastatic group.The levels of serum tumor markers[carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),carbohydrate antigen 153(CA153)],thyroid hormone[tetraiodothyronine(T4),total triiodothyronine(T3),free tetraiodothyronine(FT4),free triiodothyronine(FT3),and thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)]were compared between the two groups(before and 7 days after surgery).The serum thyroid hormone levels in patients with different pathological characteristics were compared,and their correlation with tumor markers and clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed.The predictive value of thyroid hormone and tumor markers on tumor metastasis was compared.[Results]The serum levels of CEA,CA125,and CA153 in the postoperative metastatic group were higher than those in the non-metastatic group,while the serum levels of T3,FT4,and FT3 were lower than those in the non-metastatic group(P<0.05).The preoperative serum levels of T3,FT4,and FT3 were negatively correlated with TNM staging,lymph node metastasis,and serum levels of CEA,CA125,and CA153,but positively correlated with the degree of differentiation(P<0.05).The AUC of tumor metastasis predicted by the combination of serum T3,FT4,and FT3 at 7 days after surgery was greater than that predicted by various indicators alone(P<0.05).[Conclusion]The serum levels of T3,FT4 and FT3 in patients with breast cancer metastasis after radical mastectomy are lower,and are closely related to tumor markers and clinicopathological characteristics.Combined detection of these levels has certain predictive value for tumor metastasis.关键词
