How AI empowering educational evaluation:Analysis and enlightenment based on international focus and frontier

Abstract
In order to explore new technologies and new methods of educational evaluation research and grasp the new rules of educational evaluation in the intelligent age,this paper tracked high-impact authors,high-frequency keywords and emerging keywords as indicators to reveal the international research overview,hot spots and frontiers based on the articles of AI empowering educational evaluation retrieved from Web of Science.On the basis of systematically grasping the research situation and combining with the real needs of China's education evaluation reform,the research revelations on this topic was put forward.Research results show that,international researches of AI empowering educational evaluation mainly benefit from the integration of pedagogy,psychology,sociology and computer science;four themes emerge as hotspots:result evaluation supported by machine learning,process evaluation based on educational data mining and learning analysis,value-added evaluation supported by big data and intelligent tutor system,and machine human scoring agreement;the current focuses on the mining and evaluation of educational texts supported by machine learning and natural language processing.In the future,it is necessary to improve educational evaluation from multiple perspectives based on the research status and practical needs;promote the transformation of research paradigms and ideas based on interdisciplinary consciousness and thinking;build an intelligent education evaluation system to promote the same direction of theoretical research,technology application and system construction.关键词
