Practice and Thoughts on Off-Site Warehouse Construction Based on the New Mode of Drug Supply Chain

Abstract
Objective To provide feasible suggestions for the construction of off-site warehouses based on the new mode of drug supply chain.Methods The motivation and effectiveness of off-site warehouse construction were analyzed.Field research was carried out on three pharmaceutical wholesale enterprises constructing cross-provincial off-site warehouses,the annual sales revenue of off-site warehouses,increasing taxes of the local government of off-site warehouses,decreasing transportation costs,decreasing costs of drug damage were calculated.The existing problems of the construction of off-site warehouses were analyzed,and optimization suggestions were proposed.Results The annual sales revenue of off-site warehouses constructed by three enterprises were CNY four million,372 million and two billion,respectively.The local government increased taxes by CNY 520 thousand,230 thousand and 110 million,respectively.The decreasing transportation costs were CNY 20 thousand,one million and 40 million,respectively.The decreasing costs of drug damage were CNY 10 thousand,30 thousand and five million,respectively.Conclusion The construction of off-site warehouses can increase the taxes of local government,decrease circulation costs of enterprises,and ensure timely drug supply.However,there are still problems such as inability to connect drug information in real time,increasing logistics costs and inadequate regulation.It is suggested that we should construct off-site warehouses efficiently and rationally,integrate internal resources to realize multi-warehouse collaboration,optimize logistics and distribution systems,standardize third-party logistics,implement the principal responsibility of enterprises,upgrade information systems through interconnection,strengthen the data supervision of off-site warehouses,and unify the inspection approach.关键词
