Research on the Influence of Internet Application on Total Factor Productivity of Manufacturing Industry in China
摘要
Abstract
Based on data from A-share listed companies in China,this study empirically examines the impact and mechanism of Internet application on total factor productivity in manufacturing enterprises.Here are the findings:First,the Internet application significantly improves the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises through the main channel of saving transaction costs;Second,Internet ap-plication plays a more significant role in the improvement of total factor productivity of manufacturing en-terprises in the West,capital-intensive manufacturing enterprises and export-oriented manufacturing en-terprises;Third,Internet application can improve the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises by saving sales cost and management cost,and management cost saving has a greater effect on the improvement of total factor productivity.Therefore,it is necessary to vigorously improve the depth and breadth of Internet application in manufacturing enterprises,and invest the saved sales cost and management cost into research and development activities to promote the improvement of total factor productivity in manufacturing.关键词
