The scientific connotation,risk presentation and multiple empowerment of digital leadership from the metaverse perspective

进入数字化时代,领导力的内涵发生了巨大改变,数字思维能力、数字技术能力、数字空间能力等构成了数字领导力新的结构.元宇宙推动数字生产力向前发展的同时,又会给数字领导力带来一定改变.这种改变带来了正反两方面的影响,从风险来看:首先,受资本逻辑影响,算法的霸权可能导致人们成为"数据人";其次,数字领导力和现实世界的领导力之间存在潜在"二元对冲"的风险;此外,在数字安全的背景下,人们可能被异化为"技术工具".从赋能来看:元宇宙为数字领导力提供了理念、空间、技术方面的赋能,有助于推动数字领导力全方位迭代升级,使其更好地适应数字时代的要求.

As the latest achievement in technological development,the metaverse is facing a technological war in new fields,and leaders are intensifying their layout and competing for opportunities.For example,in 2021,Mark Zuckerberg renamed his founding Facebook to Meta,and the South Korean government invested 223.3 billion Korean won to support the metaverse industryin 2023.The hot pursuit of the metaverse by leaders and the many changes brought about by the metaverse merge and coexist.From the external environment,the metaverse has changed the process of leaders carrying out work,the space for leadership,and the medium for leadership to exert effectiveness.From the perspective of endogenous abilities,the metaverse also places higher demands on leadership itself,such as the ability of leaders to use digital technology and the ability of leadership to control the digital environment.It can be seen that the metaverse has changed the external environment and internal mechanisms from the inside out.It not only forces leaders to make reforms and actively face risks and challenges,but also brings multiple empowerment to their ability enhancement.In the digital age,the connotation of leadership has undergone significant changes,with digital thinking ability,digital technology ability,digital spatial ability,etc..As the metaverse drives digital productivity forward,we find that it will also bring certain changes to digital leadership. This change has brought about both positive and negative impacts.From a risk perspective,firstly,due to the influence of capitalization,the hegemony of algorithms may lead people to become"data".The management style of digital leaders has shifted from traditional experiential leadership to precise leadership that relies on data for management.Individual information forms the foundation of big data,which in turn dominates and enslaves individuals,making them unconscious conspirators.Secondly,there is a potential risk of binary hedging between digital leadership and real-world leadership.Leaders have high authorityin real space,mainly due to the traditional appointment system,which endows them with discourse and decision-making power.This leadership style is indicative,usually a single leadership model that assigns work from top to bottom.The leader of virtual space has the constraint of decentralization.Thirdly,in the context of digital security,people may be alienated as"technological tools".For individuals,personal information leakage and property security are threatened.For the country,the development of digital technology has also brought various threats such as hacker attacks,virus infections,identity fraud,phishing,malware,ransomware,etc. The improvement of digital leadership relies on the empowerment of digital technology.The metaverse is the latest achievement of digital technology,which shapes the advanced form of human digital society.With the continuous integration and development of reality and virtual space,leaders are facing a complex digital environment.Leaders need to have a higher level of digital leadership to adapt to the development of the digital age.The metaverse can also utilize its own advantages to empower digital leadership in multiple ways,promoting the comprehensive iteration and upgrading of digital leadership.Firstly,digital concepts guide the mindfulness transformation of digital leadership.Studying mindfulness can help digital leaders eliminate interference in the ever-changing digital tide,enhance their digital leadership,and make the right decisions.Secondly,the integration of virtual and real expands the practical space of digital leadership.There are social relationships in both real and virtual spaces,but the carriers are different.Social relationships require a certain level of order and norms,which requires the presence of leaders'ability to navigate the digital space.Thirdly,immersive experience promotes the strategic transformation of digital leadership.Digital technology can create a space for misconceptions,allowing leaders to gain a higher threshold of perception and an immersive experience for free individuals.This helps to promote the comprehensive iteration and upgrading of digital leadership,making it better suited to the requirements of the digital age. In short,utilizing the empowerment of the metaverse to seize opportunities and further innovate and develop digital leadership.Of course,this article studies digital leadership as a competency,lacking specific quantitative characterization.In the future,it needs more scientific and rigorous evaluation and measurement of digital leadership.
