Abstract
As a healthy,natural beverage,tea is a unique cultural product.Tea polysaccharides,a class of pol-ysaccharide complexes extracted from tea and its by-products,possess various biological functions such as an-tioxidant,anti-tumor properties,immune regulation,and modulation of intestinal microbiota.They are widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.This article provides a comprehensive review of tea polysaccha-rides,including their different sources,compositions,preparation processes,biological functions,and applica-tions in animal production.The objective is to enhance the effectiveness of tea polysaccharides in livestock and poultry farming and provide guidance for their application in animal production.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2023,35(12):7605-7616]关键词
