Breeding and Application of Yexiangyou 633,a New Variety of Aromatic Hybrid Rice with High Quality

Abstract
Yexiangyou 633 was a new variety of three-line late indica hybrid rice which was cross bred by the Rice Re-search Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences,from Fuhui 633(a restorer line with high quality,high yield and disease resistance)as the male parent,and Yexiang A(a sterile line with high quality,flavor type and dis-ease resistance introduced from Guangxi Lvhai Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.)as the female parent.It was approved by Fujian Agricultural Crop Approval Committee in 2023(Min Approved Rice 20230011).Yexiangyou 633 had high yield,the average yield of Yexiangyou 633 in the two-year regional test was 7 648.5 kg·hm-2,which was 1 A%higher than that of the control Yiyou 673.The average yield in the production test was 7 609.5 kg·hm-2,which was 3.6%higher than that of the control Yiyou 673.After 2 years of indoor inoculation in the regional test and the field resistance identification to rice blast,it was comprehensively evaluated as medium resistance to rice blast,and the rice quality could reach the quality standard of first-class and high-quality edible rice varieties issued by the Ministry.The rice of Yexiangyou 633 had the flavor of jasmine and good taste,which was suitable for the cultivation of high-grade and high-quality rice.The breeding process of Yexiangyou 633 was introduced,and the main cultivation techniques were proposed based on the variety characteristics,in order to facilitate the promotion and application of this variety in production.关键词
