Abstract

The existing MG650/1630-GWD shearer in Huayang No.1 Coal Mine mainly relies on the operator to adjust the height of the cutting drum in combination with the distribution of the coal seam during the working process.The adjustment accuracy is not high,and it is time-consuming and labor-intensive.Once an error occurs,it will cause a roof accident,which is not conducive to the efficient and safe production of coal mines.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out technical transformation of the shearer,design the automatic control system of the shearer,and select the main components of the shearer and design the control system based on the overall structure and working process of the shearer.In order to verify the application feasibility of the structure and control system of the shearer,the industrial application test is used to carry out the system application analysis.The results show that the system can meet the basic functional requirements of shearer control.The shearer operator is reduced from 4 people per shift to 3 people per shift,the daily labor cost is reduced by 3 people,the labor intensity is reduced,the equipment failure rate is reduced,the coal mining efficiency is increased by 5%,and the economic benefit is considerable.
