Effect of nucleotides on growth performance,serum biochemical indexes,immunity and antioxidant function of calves
摘要
Abstract
The aim of the experiment was to study the effect of nucleotides on growth performance,serum biochemical indexes,immune function of calves.In the same batch of newborn calves,eighty five-day-old calves with similar body weight were randomly divided into four groups,with five replicates in each group and four calves in each replicate.The calves in control group were fed a basal diet,the calves in experimental group 1,group 2 and group 3 were given 1,2 and 3 g/(head·d)nucleotides.The experiment lasted for 56 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the average daily gain of calves in the group 2 and the group 3 were significantly increased(P＜0.05),and the incidence of enteritis and pneumonia of calves in the experimental groups was significantly decreased(P＜0.05),the WBC of calves in the group 2 and the group 3 was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).The HCT of calves in the experimental groups were significantly decreased(P＜0.05).The serum ALB concent of calves in the group 1 and the group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The serum AST activity of calves in all experimental groups was lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The TNF-α level in the group 2 was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the average profit of each calf in the group 2 and the group 3 increased by 3.95％and 5.21％,respectively.The study indicates that nucleotides can significantly improve the daily gain and health level of calves,enhance the immunity of calves and increase economic efficiency.It is recommended that the suitable dosage of nucleotides should be 2～3 g/(head·d).关键词
