摘要

Abstract

Cyclic nucleotides are cyclic diester small molecules formed by one or more nucleotide monophosphates through phosphodiester bonds.As signal transduction molecule,they play important roles in many physiological functions including cell metabolism,transcription regulation and cell growth.The latest research has found that va-rious types of cyclic nucleotide molecules can activate the innate immune response of metazoans and the anti-phage defense system of bacteria.This article summarizes the types of cyclic nucleotides discovered so far,briefly reviews the research progress of their functional mechanisms,and puts forward the current problems and potential develop-ment directions.
