Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of nutritional support on the incidence of complications and nutritional status of pa-tients with esophageal and gastric varices rupture and bleeding after endoscopic treatment.Methods:140 patients with esopha-geal variceal hemorrhage in Jiangsu Province Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were divided into control group and inter-vention group by random number table method,with 70 cases in each group.Both groups received endoscopic treatment and conventional dietary intervention,and the intervention group received nutritional support intervention on this basis.The inci-dence of complications during the intervention period and the results of objective and comprehensive nutritional assessment were collected.Results:During the intervention period,the total complication rate in the intervention group was 4.29％(3/70)lower than that in the control group[15.71％(11/70)],the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.079,P=0.024).Af-ter intervention,BMI in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Nutritional support after endoscopic treatment can not only effectively reduce the risk of related complications,but also significantly im-prove the nutritional status of patients with esophageal and gastric varices rupture and bleeding.关键词
