华北地区141例犬皮肤肿瘤回顾性分析
Retrospective Analysis of 141 Cases of Canine Cutaneous Tumors in Northern China

Abstract
In order to investigate the incidence patterns and risk factors of canine cutaneous tumors in North China,this study conducted a retrospective analysis of naturally occurring cases collected from selected animal hospitals in North China in 2021.Tumors were diagnosed using histopathological methods,and statistical analyses were performed on the age,gender,breed,as well as the occurrence sites and types of cutaneous tumors in affected dogs.The results revealed that among 389 cases of canine tumors,141 were diagnosed as cutaneous tumors,including 103 cases of benign tumors(73.05％)and 38 cases of malignant tumors(26.95％).Common types of cutaneous tumors included lipoma(17 cases,12.06％),soft tissue sarcoma(16 cases,11.35％),trichoepithelioma(16 cases,11.35％),fibroma(14 cases,9.93％),and mast cell tumor(13 cases,9.22％).Predominant occurrence sites were the limbs(28 cases,21.54％),head(22 cases,16.92％),perineum,buttocks and tail(21 cases,16.15％),back(18 cases,13.85％),and abdomen(18 cases,13.85％).The age group of 4-9 years had the highest risk of developing cutaneous tumors,while the risk was lowest in the age group ≤3 years.Male dogs had a higher risk than female dogs,and neutering/spaying was not a significant risk factor for canine cutaneous tumors.The breed with the highest risk was the Golden retriever,while mixed-breed dogs had the lowest risk.The results indicate tendencies in age,gender,breed,and affected sites for canine cutaneous tumors.The regional characteristics of cutaneous tumor incidence in North China have important implications for further research on the incidence patterns and preventive measures of canine cutaneous tumors in China.关键词
