Abstract
In order to better leverage the role of the enhanced resistivity micro-imager(ERMI),independently developed by COSL,in exploration,development and geological evaluation,to enhance its application effect in complex formations such as the Missan oilfield in Iraq,this paper introduces the working principle of ERMI electrical imaging logging tool and analyzes the geological condition and structural characteristics of Missan oilfield in Iraq.Based on the actual operation in Misang oilfield in the early stage,a set of operational techniques suitable for the formation characteristics of the region has been summarized from the preparation work before ERMI electrical imaging logging operation,instrument parameter optimization combination,log-ging data quality control,on-site operation precautions,and other aspects.Rich application results have been achieved in data processing and comprehensive interpretation.关键词
