Abstract
The strength and permeability properties of the barrier wall composed of soil-bentonite were severely degraded under dry and wet cycling conditions and after heavy metal erosion.In order to study the degree of deterioration of strength and permeability performance,the change rule of unconfined strength and permeability coefficient was analysed through the strength test and permeability test under dry and wet cycling conditions.The results show that with the increase of the number of dry and wet cycles,the unconfined strength decreases and the permeability coefficient increases,and the strength is only about 50%of the original after 6 cycles,while the permeability coefficient increases by several orders of magnitude;under the same cycle number,the invasion of heavy metal zinc ions will cause the strength to decrease by more than half,and the permeability coefficient increases by one order of magnitude.关键词
