摘要

Abstract

Objective In order to improve the performance of recycled coarse aggregate concrete(RAC),and expand the application scope of RAC.Methods The reinforcement of recycled coarse aggregate(RCA)was studied by polymer methylmethacrylate(MMA)monomer impregnation and polymerization in this paper.The influence of polymerization temperature,polymerization time,moisture content of RCA and other factors on the effect of MMA reinforced RCA,and the influence of reinforced RCA on the mechanical properties of concrete was analyzed.Results Results:The results show that the optimum polymerization temperature and time of MMA enhanced RCA are 60℃ and 24h respectively;MMA strengthening can effectively improve the physical properties of RAC,such as water absorption and crushing index,etc;The pre-drying treatment can further improve the performance of the RCA.After MMA strengthening treatment,The cube compressive strength of RAC at 3d,7d,14d,and 28d increased by 26.9%,20.3%,21.4%,and 23.9%,respectively,compared to RAC with ordinary RCA;The axial compressive strength,splitting tensile strength,flexural strength and elastic modulus of RAC with strengthen RCA increased by 20.9%,14.7%,12.2%and 8.3%re-spectively,compared to RAC with ordinary RCA;And the ductility of recycled coarse aggregate concrete has also been significantly improved.Conclusion The method of MMA monomers impregnating and then po-lymerizing can effectively improve the performance of RCA,and the mechanical properties of recycled coarse aggregate concrete can also be improved.
