摘要

Abstract

To research whether the development of transportation infrastructure affects the CO2 emission intensity,this paper was based on the data of 14 ports in China from 2012 to 2017 and used the IPCC method.The IPCC method was used to calculate the CO2 emission intensity of container inland transporta-tion.Taking the upgrading of industrial structure as the threshold variable,the panel threshold model was used to empirically analyze the impact of transportation infrastructure development on the CO2 emission in-tensity of container inland transportation.The results show that when the industrial structure is low in so-phistication,the development of transport infrastructure will significantly reduce the CO2 emission intensi-ty of inland transport.However,its emission reduction effect will decrease with the upgrading of industri-al structure.When the industrial structure is advanced to a certain extent,the development of transporta-tion infrastructure will significantly improve the CO2 emission intensity of inland transportation.That is,from the perspective of industrial structure,the CO2 emission intensity of container inland transportation is influenced by the development of transportation infrastructure,resulting in a double threshold effect.Under the threshold model,the level of economic development,port production capacity and trade level can significantly enhance the CO2 emission intensity of inland transportation.
