摘要

Abstract

There is a large amount of inductive load in the power system,and the total current lag voltage in the circuit has a certain phase angle,resulting in low power factor.There is the current situation that the equipment capacity can not be fully utilized,the equipment capacity selection is large,and the calculation of the current in the line is large.In order to solve the above problems,this paper researches the reactive power compensation of shunt capacitor in the electric circuit,mainly from the main factors affecting the power factor,the principle of reactive power compensation,through theoretical calculation and the method of using examples simulation in Multisim,fully explains the principle of reactive power compensation of shunt capacitor is,and gives the method of capacitor capacity calculation.Finally,it is verified by an example simulation.
