摘要

Abstract

In order to explore the key plant cell wall-degrading enzymes(PCWDEs)genes,which play critical roles in the infection of wheat rust,bioinformatics methods were used to identify and analyze the Carbohydrate-active enzymes(CAZymes)existed in the genomes of three wheat rust fungi including Puccinia triticina(Pt),Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici(Pst)and Puccinia graminis f.sp.tritici(Pgt).The PCWDEs gene family was screened and identified from these CAZymes genes.The expression patterns for selected PCWDEs members of Pt were analyzed by qRT-PCR.The results showed as follows:1)The genomes of wheat rust fungi encode 355,322 and 345 CAZymes family members,and contain 160,153 and 158 PCWDEs family members,for Pt,Pst,and Pgt,respectively.There are 75 conserved CAZymes gene subfamiles and 94 orthologous gene clusters of PCWDEs in three wheat rust fungi.2)16 PCWDEs of Pt unique genes were induced at differential levels in compatible(Pt15-'Chinese Spring')and incompatible(Pt15-'Yunmai 34')combinations,and some of them were up-regulated earlier in the incompatible combinations.3)Four Pt unique PCWDEs belonging to one gene cluster of Pt were homologous to extension-like proteins,which were also regulated for transcriptional level during the infection.In summary,all PCWDEs of wheat rust fungi in genome wide were identified,and the transcriptional patterns of some candidates were detected.The results in this study indicated that PCWDEs might play an important role during the infection of rust fungi.
