Abstract
Since the publication of a monograph on political parties by the Russian scholar Ostrogorsky in the early 20th century,the political study of political parties is generally considered to have officially begun.Howev-er,the nature and identity of this discipline remain unclear,and the significance of the research is often confu-sing.The confusion arises from a long-standing misconception,where the sociological study of political parties has been confused with the political study of political parties.Most studies on political parties follow the pattern of sociology,seeking so-called social laws,while forgetting that Politics,with a much longer history than soci-ology,aims to ensure the well-being of all members of the political community,or in other words,to achieve good governance.The political study of political parties should return to the origin of Politics,making the a-chievement of good governance its primary research goal.As political parties are originally organizations pursuing rule and governance,especially in an era where political parties are widely popularized and commonly govern countries,the focus of the political study of political parties should be to understand the impact political parties have on national governance.This involves exploring the changes political parties bring,how national governance is carried out,the results achieved,and the reasons behind them,ultimately seeking pathways towards achieving good governance in this era.Once the research theme is clarified,the research framework should be redesigned.Research should focus on the system,capacity,effectiveness,and enhancement of political party governance.关键词
