Abstract
Objective To explore the curative effect of epidermal growth factor combined with MEBO in promoting wound healing of Wagner Grade 1~2 diabetic foot. Methods Fifty-two patients with Wagner Grade 1~2 diabetic foot who were treated in Guangzhou General Hospital of Foresea Life Insurance from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into single burn cream group and combined growth factor group, with 26 patients in each group. The single burn cream group was treated with MEBO,and the combined growth factor group was treated with recombinant human epidermal growth factor external solution based on the single burn cream group. The wound healing rate, wound area, matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and matrix metalloproteinase-1(TIMP-1),superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),interleukin-6(IL-6),vascular cell adhesion molecule 1(VCAM-1),basic fibroblast growth factor 2(FGF2)levels of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the single burn cream group, the wound healing rate of combined growth factor group was higher, and the wound area was smaller after 7 days of treatment and 14 days of treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with single burn cream group,TIMP-1 level was higher and MMP-9 level was lower in combined growth factor group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with single burn cream group,SOD level was higher and MDA level was lower in combined growth factor group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of VCAM-1,FGF2 and IL-6 in the combined growth factor group were lower than those in the single burn ointment group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of Wagner Grade 1 to 2 diabetic foot patients, epidermal growth factor combined with MEBO can promote wound healing, maintain body balance, improve oxidative stress indexes, and reduce inflammation.关键词
