Abstract

To explore the effects of different influencing factors on the displacement and stress of the segments during the construction process of the diversion tunnel,a three-dimensional refined finite element model of the"surrounding rock-segment-inner tensioned steel ring"composite structure was established using a typical section of the Rongjiang Guanbu diversion tunnel project as an example.The excavation process of the diversion tunnel project was simulated,and the effects of tunnel burial depth,surrounding rock type,and grouting stiffness on the mechanical properties of the segments during the construction period were studied.The results show that during the excavation process of TBM diversion tunnel construction,the displacement of the pipe segment gradually increases with the increase of the number of excavation rings,reducing the burial depth of the tunnel,enhancing the type of surrounding rock(Class Ⅴ → Class Ⅱ),and enhancing the grouting properties will reduce the displacement of the pipe segment,with maximum values of 1.670mm,1.406mm,and 1.863mm,respectively,the compressive stress of the pipe segment gradually increases with the increase of the number of excavation rings,while the tensile stress shows a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,increasing the burial depth of the tunnel,reducing the type of surrounding rock(Class Ⅱ → Class Ⅴ),and weakening the grouting properties will increase the stress of the pipe segment.The maximum compressive stress values of the pipe segment are 5.765MPa,4.833MPa,and 6.165MPa,respectively,which meet the requirements of the specifications.In practical engineering,it is recommended to focus on monitoring tunnel projects with large burial depth and poor surrounding rock quality.The research results can provide reference for similar diversion tunnel projects.
