Abstract
The Xijiang River is an important tributary of the Pearl River Basin,and the water quality of the main stream is relatively high.From Sixianjiao to the West Sea Channel,the water quality standards of Class Ⅱ can be maintained.It is a tidal reach.According to the Pearl River Basin Development Plan,Xijiang River is also an important navigable channel,which undertakes the navigation tasks for 3000-ton ships.The construction of the navigable wharf requires channel dredging of the main stream.This paper simulates the impact of the construction of the 3000-ton wharf on hydrodynamics and water quality based on two-dimensional non-steady state model in Foshan Port,which is among water protection areas in Xijiang.We analyzed the degree and scope of the impact of river dredging on Suspendid Solids.It is expected to provide technical reference for the protection and pollution mitigation strategies of drinking water source areas with similar hydrological and natural conditions of tidal reaches.关键词
