Abstract

In order to screen out biodegradable and environmentally friendly planting vectors suitable for three-dimensional hydroponic production,the different planting substrates were analyzed from the raw material characteristics,mechanical properties,and hydroponic cultivation.The results showed that compared with peat and starch-based planting substrates,the biomass charcoal-based planting substrate had better mechanical properties.Among them,the biomass charcoal 1 had a drop loss rate of less than 3.5%,adhesion of less than 0.2 N·mm,rebound rate greater than 75%,cohesion greater than 0.5 N·mm,and hardness greater than 80 N.Its hydroponic characteristics met planting standards,with a pH of 6.68,water absorption rate of 330.52%,water retention rate of 93.64%,and degradation rate of 9.23%after six weeks.During the seedling stage,the germination rate of the biomass charcoal 1 planting substrate was 66.67%,and the strong seedling index of the plants was the highest at 3.91.The EC value after planting was 667.33 ppm.Comprehensive analysis showed that the biomass charcoal substrate made from bamboo charcoal and bamboo fiber had the best comprehensive performance.This provides scientific evidence and technical support for the research and application of environmentally friendly planting substrates and has important theoretical and practical value.
