Abstract
The effects of inorganic filler talc(Talc)and calcium carbonate(CaCO3)on the mechanical properties of ABS were compared in this study.The results showed that the impact strength of ABS material with 5%(wt.)inorganic filler decreased by more than 50%.The impact strength,tensile strength and bending strength of 10%(wt.)Talc filled-ABS were 7.0kJ/m2,49.5MPa and 66.7MPa,respectively.The impact strength,tensile strength and bending strength of 10%(wt.)CaCO3 filled-ABS were 8.3kJ/m2,43.8MPa and 61.7MPa respectively.When 25%(wt.)of the filler was added,the tensile strength was only 33.0MPa and the bending strength was 54.5MPa of CaCO3 filled-ABS,while the tensile strength was 41.9MPa and the bending strength was 63.2MPa of Talc filled-ABS.关键词
