Effect of rehabilitation training combined with music therapy on the ability to return to work and personal sense of control in middle-aged and young stroke patients with behavioral memory impairment

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation training combined with music therapy on the ability to return to work and personal sense of control in middle-aged and young stroke patients with behavioral memory impairment.Methods A total of 82 young and middle-aged stroke patients admitted to the Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group of 41 cases and the observation group of 41 cases.The control group received routine rehabilitation training,while the observation group received ethereal drum rehabilitation training and music therapy intervention on the basis of the control group.The neurological function,motor function,cognitive function,daily life ability,personal control,ability to return to work,and psychological emotions of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,both groups had a decrease in the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score,while the mini-menrtal state examination(MMSE),activity of daily living(ADL),and Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(FMA)scores increased(P<0.05).After intervention,the NIHSS score in the observation group decreased more significantly,while the MMSE,FMA,and ADL scores increased more significantly(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the observation group showed a more significant decrease in SAS and SDS scores after intervention(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of the personal mastery scale(PMS)and the Chinese version of the work-ability support scale(WSS)increased in both groups(P<0.05),and the observation group showed a more significant increase in PMS and WSS scores after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of ethereal drum rehabilitation training and music therapy in middle-aged and young stroke patients with behavioral memory impairment can promote the recovery of neurological,cognitive,and motor functions,improve their negative psychological emotions,and enhance their ability to return to work and personal sense of control.关键词
