Research progress of DTI on prediction of motor functional prognosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke
摘要
Abstract
Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)is a common cerebrovascular disease threatening human life and health.It is the main cause of death and long-term disability in adults,which is closely related to the severity of corticospinal tract(CST)damage after stroke.Therefore,it is very important to accurately assess the severity of white matter(WM)damage after stroke and precisely identify the recovery capability of motor function in AIS patients.Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)can evaluate noninvasively the morphological and structural integrity of WM fiber bundles and has become a major evaluation tool in the study of post-AIS sports injuries in recent years.In this paper,the basic principle of DTI,the relationship between CST integrity and motor function,and the prediction of motor functional prognosis in AIS patients by DTI were briefly reviewed.关键词
