The Evolution and Prospects of Farming and Reading Education Research Since the Founding of the People's Republic of China

Abstract
Using 319 academic literature collected by CNKI from 1958 to 2023 as samples,CiteSpace was used to visually analyze basic characteristics and research contents.It finds that research on agricul-tural education has gone through three stages:initial development period,slow recovery period,and comprehensive outbreak period;in terms of spatial distribution,relevant research is confined to the per-spectives of pedagogy,culture and agriculture,and subject integration research needs to be carried out urgently.The highly cited literature has yet to form an absolute advantage in general.Research forces'independent and decentralized characteristics are apparent,and cooperation and exchange must be strengthened.Regarding the research theme,the Ontology,Axiology,and Methodology of farming and reading education constitute the knowledge base,and culture,times value,and collaborative path of agri-cultural education are the research frontier.Regarding research trends,the research process of farming and reading education is divided into the embryonic and development stages.Combining with the move-ment of the times,achieving high-quality growth that realizes farming and reading education with agri-cultural and rural modernization,rural revitalization,agricultural power construction,and socialist mod-ernization power construction has become the essential requirement of education reform in the new era.Subsequent research needs to continue to deepen in expanding content,enriching perspectives,highlight-ing characteristics,and promoting collaboration.关键词
