Effects of Plant Growth Regulator on Growth and Flowering Regulation of Iris ensata

Abstract
The Iris ensata variety'red plum smoke'was used as the material,and the effects of different concentrations of uniconazole"S3307"(100,200 and 300 mg/L),paclobutrazol"PP333"(200,500 and 800 mg/L),and IAA(100,200 and 300 mg/L)on the growth and flowering of Iris ensata were studied.The results showed that each concentration of the three plant growth hormones could effectively reduce the plant height of Iris ensata.S3307 and PP333 had an obvious dwarfing effect on Iris ensata.After treatment,the leaves were shortened,and the SPAD value was slightly increased.However,Iris ensata treated with S3307 and PP333 showed no flowering,which showed that the plants could not flower under the treatment of medium and low concentrations of S3307 and low concentrations of PP333,while the plants could flower normally under the treatment of high concentrations of S3307 and medium and high concentrations of PP333,which may be related to the increase of endogenous GA3 content and the ratio of IAA/ABA.Under IAA treatment,Iris ensata could flower,but the flowering period was delayed to some extent.After comprehensive consideration,300 mg/L S3307 had the best treatment effect on Iris ensata.After treatment,the plants were short and compact.The leaves were dark green,and the plants could flower normally,which was more suitable for pot planting.With 300 mg/L IAA treatment,the plant height of Iris ensata was reduced,and the flowering time was delayed,which also had a certain application value in the optimization of plant type and the regulation of flowering time.关键词
