Application effect of problem-based learning method combined with case discussion teaching method in pediatric teaching

Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)method combined with case discussion teaching method in pediatric teaching.Methods A total of 72 students from the internship class of 2018 and the practice class of 2019 in the clinical specialist of Taihe Hospital of Wannan Medical College were selected as the research objects.The students from 2018 were included into the control group(42 cases),and the students from 2019 were included into the study group(30 cases).The control group received traditional teaching method,and the study group received PBL method combined with case discussion teaching method.The assessment results,autonomous learning ability score,teaching recognition and total teaching satisfaction rate of the two groups were compared.Results The theoretical and practical scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After teaching,the scores of autonomous learning ability in both groups increased,and the scores of autonomous learning ability in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The teaching recognition and total teaching satisfaction rate in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion PBL method combined with case discussion teaching method in pediatric teaching has remarkable application effect,which can improve students'performance and autonomous learning ability,and is worth popularizing.关键词
