Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupoint massage on the second stage of labor and uterine contraction pain in primipara.Methods A total of 92 primiparas who delivered in the Department of Obstetrics,Dongchangfu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Liaocheng City,Shandong Province from October 2022 to September 2023 were selected and divided into study group(n=46)and control group(n=46)by random number table method.The control group was given routine intervention,and the study group was given acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupoint massage intervention.The second stage of labor,uterine contraction pain(VAS),adverse pregnancy outcomes and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The second stage of labor in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group at 30,60 and 120 min after analgesia(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupoint massage in primiparas can effectively shorten the second stage of labor,relieve pain,reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes and complications,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
