Abstract
Objective:To explore the current status of supportive care needs of newly diagnosed patients with head and neck tumor before treatment and analyze influencing factors,in order to provide a basis for formulating relevant care plans.Methods:A total of 184 patients with head and neck tumors were included and the general information question-naire,Cancer Patient Supportive Care Needs Scale(SCNS-SF34),Anderson Head and Neck Symptom Questionnaire(MDASI-H&N),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)were used in the investigation.Results:The top three supportive care needs were physiological and daily life needs with a score of 2.95±0.75,medical service and information needs with a score of 2.92±0.46,and psychological needs with a score of 2.64±0.65.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that occupation,disease location,treatment methods,social support,anxi-ety,and symptom burden were the influencing factors for various dimensions of supportive care needs(P<0.05).Conclusion:Newly diagnosed patients with head and neck tumors have high physiological,medical services,information,and psychological needs before treatment.Medical staff should focus on developing and adjusting supportive care plans based on occupation,disease location,treatment methods,social support,anxiety,and symptom burden,in order to improve the satisfaction of patients'supportive care needs.关键词
