Abstract
Objective To compare the application effect between Dexmedetomidine and Midazolam in pediatric surgical anesthesia.Methods A total of 90 children who underwent surgical anesthesia in Department of Anesthesiology,the Third People's Hospital of Chengyang District,Qingdao from February 2020 to August 2023 were selected and divided into control group(45 cases)and study group(45 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was anesthetized by Midazolam,and the study group was anesthetized by Dexmedetomidine.The heart rate,respiration rate,oxyhemoglobin saturation,time of falling asleep,postoperative agitation rate and total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in heart rate,respiratory rate and oxyhemoglobin saturation between the two groups(P>0.05).The time of falling asleep in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative agitation rate and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with Midazolam,Dexmedetomidine can reduce the rate of postoperative agitation and the incidence of adverse reactions in pediatric surgical anesthesia,which is worth popularizing.关键词
