摘要

Abstract

In order to compare the differences in volume parameters,high-temperature stability,low-temperature crack-ing resistance,and water stability of asphalt mixtures designed by Superpave and Marshall methods.Using AC-20 asphalt mixture as the research object and high modulus rubber asphalt as the binder,design coarse,medium,and fine grading that meets the engineering grading range and avoids the restricted areas in Super-pave.The results showed that the Superpave design method can reduce asphalt usage by about 0.3%compared to the Marshall design method.The Superpave method is used to design a mixture with a slightly higher gross volume relative density than Marshall&apos′s.The asphalt mixture designed by Superpave has better high-temperature stability and low-temperature crack resistance than Marshall&apos′s.The coarser the grading,the greater the excellent high-temperature stability,and the smaller the excellent low-temperature crack re-sistance.The asphalt mixture designed by the Superpave method and Marshall method has little difference in water stability.
