Impact of Enteral Nutrition Containing GM on Nutritional Status and Gastrointestinal Function of Patients with Severe Stroke

Abstract
Objective To observe the value of enteral nutrition containing galactomannan(GM)applied in patients with severe stroke.Methods 100 patients with severe stroke were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received conventional enteral nutrition,and the observation group received enteral nutrition containing GM.The nutritional indicators,occurrence of feeding intolerance and gastrointestinal function were compared between the two groups.Results After 10 days of intervention,the levels of TP,PA and Hb in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidences of gastric retention,diarrhea and abdominal distension in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 10 days of intervention,the proportion of AGI grade 1 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Enteral nutrition containing GM can improve the nutritional status and gastrointestinal function of patients with severe stroke,and reduce the occurrence risk of feeding intolerance.关键词
