一例犬艾迪森病的诊断与治疗

Abstract
On January 22,2023,some symptoms including emesis,yellow water exudation,decreased appetite and weight loss were found in a 4-year-old female Bichon Frise that was diagnosed subsequently through clinical observation,blood routine examination,biochemical test,electrolyte test and adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)stimulation test.Blood routine results showed that the increasing hematokrit(HCT)and red blood cell(RBC)count presented severe dehydration;biochemical test results showed that the increasing creatinine and urea nitrogen content indicated abnormal renal function;electrolyte test results showed that hyponatremia,hyperkalemia and hypochloremia were available,indicating Addison's disease;and ACTH stimulation test results indicated adrenal hypofunction.Based on the above results,Addison's disease was confirmed in the infected dog.The dog recovered well through vomit-stopping,correcting hypotension and hypovolemia,adjusting electrolyte balance,correcting hypoglycemia,increasing appetite as well as subcutaneous injection with dexamethasone sodium phosphate or oral administration with ponisone tablets.By the diagnosis of the case,a reference was provided for future diagnosis,analysis and treatment of canine Addison's disease.关键词
