New Opportunities and New Ideas for Tourism Development Under the Goal of'Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality'
摘要
Abstract
As a major carbon emitter,tourism has great potential and plays a pivotal role in helping to achieve the'carbon peaking and carbon neutrality'goal.Tourism industry should focus on the concept of multi-faceted,multi-level and high-quality development,and promote the reduction of carbon emission from the aspects of supply,consumption and policy support.From the supply side to promote technological innovation in tourism,improve the development of energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies,develop digital construction and cleaning transfor-ming of energy resources,so as to achieve carbon emission reduction on the supply side;from the consumption side,we advocate for public participation in carbon reduction by raising tourists'low-carbon awareness,advocating low-carbon tourism consumption,and establishing stakeholder participation mechanisms,thereby reducing tourism carbon emissions from the consumption side;in terms of policy guarantee,we will improve the overall policy provi-sions for the low-carbon development of tourism by improving the top-level design,industry management,profes-sional training and other suggestions,with a view to providing a feasible path for realization of'carbon peaking and carbon neutrality'goal in China.关键词
