摘要

Abstract

One of the components of welding robots is welding equipment,and welding robots will also usher in a major technological innovation with the introduction of the concept of idle loss of welding equipment in Regulation(EU)2019/1784,which was issued by the European Union on October 1,2019,laying down ecodesign requirements for welding machines.This paper points out the restriction of idle loss state on the efficiency of welding robots,and introduces effective methods to offset idle loss from four aspects:robot arm,control system,welding equipment and safety system.The paper focuses on the analysis of the welding equipment,combining with the test data,and finds out the reasons of high power consumption from the perspectives of power device,main transformer core,control module and cooling system.The corresponding solutions are put forward,which will actively promote the green and sustainable development of welding robots.
