Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of stroke unit intensive care under PDCA cycle optimization on neurological function recovery and quality of life in stroke patients.Methods A total of 102 patients with severe acute stroke admitted to Gucheng County People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects and divided into observation group(n=51)and control group(n=51)by coin toss method.The observation group was given intensive care of stroke unit under PDCA cycle optimization,while the control group was given basic emergency care.The recovery of neurological function and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference in National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing,the NIHSS score of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing,the scores of life quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Stroke unit intensive care under PDCA cycle optimization can effectively promote the recovery of neurological function and improve the quality of life of stroke patients.
