Abstract
Objective To explore the improvement of hope level and pain symptom in prostate cancer patients receiving nursing of Roy-Neuman comprehensive model. Methods The subjects of this study were 100 prostate cancer patients admitted to Nantong Tumor Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023.The patients were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table:a control group(50 cases receiving routine care)and an observation group(50 cases receiving nursing of Roy-Neuman comprehensive model). The hope level, pain symptom, disease coping style, quality of life, and the incidence of complications during the intervention were compared between the two groups before intervention and after 1 and 3 months of intervention. Results Compared with those before intervention, both groups had improved scores after 1 and 3 months of intervention in the scores of the Chinese version of the Herth Hope Index, the Visual Analogue Scale, the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire, and the Quality of Life Questionnaire(all P<0.05).The above scores were also compared between the two groups, and the observation group showed better scores than the control group(all P<0.05).Compared with the total incidence of complications(such as intestinal obstruction)in the control group,it was lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing of Roy-Neuman comprehensive model can improve the hope level and quality of life of prostate cancer patients, alleviate their pain, improve their disease coping style, and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
