Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the fruit quality of three new Rosa rugose varieties(Wucimei No.1,Fengguomei No.3,Feng-guomei No.6).Methods:The plant morphological characteristics and fruit characters of Wucimei No.1,Fengguomei No.3,Fengguomei No.6 were described.The contents of total sugar,water-soluble polysaccharide,total phenol,total flavone,total triterpene and carotenoid were determined by UV spectrophotometry.The contents of rutin,quercetin,betulinic acid,ursolic acid and oleanolic acid were deter-mined by HPLC.The entropy weight TOPSIS method was used to evaluate the fruit quality of new Rosa rugose varieties.Results:The three new varieties of Rosa rugose were different in plant morphology,fruit size,shape and color.The contents of carotenoid and betulinic acid in the fruits of Wucimei No.1 were the highest,which were 19.39,0.85 mg/g,respectively.The contents of water-soluble sugar,to-tal flavonoids,total phenolic acid and rutin were the highest in the fruits of Fengguomei No.3,which were 24.84,44.36,6.81,0.46 mg/g,respectively.The contents of total triterpene,ursolic acid,oleanolic acid and quercetin in Fengguomei No.6 were the highest,which were 33.47,2.64,0.48,0.02 mg/g,respectively.The results of entropy weight TOPSIS analysis showed that the relative proximi-ty ranking was Fengguomei No.3,Wucimei No.1,Fengguomei No.6,Rosa rugose for traditional flowers,purple branch Rosa rugose for flowers.Conclusion:Three new Rosa rugose fruits varieties can be distinguished by observing their plant morphology and fruit charac-ters.The content of effective components in the fruits of the three new varieties of Rosa rugose is higher than that in the fruits of the flower germplasm.Comprehensive analysis shows that Fengguomei No.3,Wucimei No.1 and Fengguomei No.6 all have certain develop-ment value.
