摘要

Abstract

In order to simulate the various mechanical loads that 66 kV wet light submarine cables may withstand throughout their entire life cycle,such as crushing,stretching,bending,impact,torsion and so on,different test platforms are built based on different types of mechanical loads.For crushing loads,friction test platforms are used to simulate the short-term compression of submarine cables,and long-term stacking of heavy objects is used to simulate the long-term compression of submarine cables.A tensile and bending test platform is built using fatigue testing machines and bending stiffness testing facility to simulate and restore the tensile and bending loads borne by submarine cables during operation.An impact testing machine is used to simulate the impact load borne by submarine cables in the actual process.A torsion test platform is built and angle sensors and force sensors are used to measure the torsional load borne by submarine cables.By conducting the above special mechanical tests on 66 kV wet light submarine cables and analyzing the test data accordingly,engineering related information such as allowable crushing load,lateral pressure,impact resistance,stiffness,and allowable torsion angle of the cables can be obtained,providing experimental support for the production,load-out,transportation,laying,installation,operation and maintenance of submarine cables.
