Anthropological poetry is a new form of literature.Chinese scholars often conflate anthropological poetry with ethnographic poetry,so the emergence and definition of anthropological poetry should be clarified first.Secondly,the evolution of"poetics"and its interconnection with"empathy"in anthropological poetics contribute to the theoretical analysis of anthropological poetry.Finally,summarizing the characteristics of anthropological poetry,such as its return to the primitive,manifestation of the natural,incorporation of the"other culture"concept,coexistence of scientific and humanistic rationality,and"counter-discourse"characteristic,will help to reveal the significance and role of poetry as a cultural tradition and symbolic system and facilitate research on anthropology and ethnology.Meanwhile,a deeper understanding of the impact of poetry and its creators on readers'emotions and cognition can provide theoretical support for exploring the potential of poetry as a tool for emotional expression and psychological therapy.
