Abstract
The root cause of current urban-rural imbalance is the lack of effective understanding,and it is necessary to reflect on it.The general view is that the unequal development opportunities under the"urban-rural dual institution"have caused the disparity between urban and rural.Then it is proposed that breaking down the"institution"barriers is the effective,or even the only solution.However,in the process of"institution unity",villagers continue to be"squeezed out"by the urban-led rural construction movement.The emphasis on"subjectivity and rural governance"becomes a new solution which,however,is superimposing new problems.Through literature review,it is pointed out that not only this liner logic is often"strained",but also the"dual institution"and"urban-rural imbalance"as the logical starting point are not even enough to be a problem after changing scenarios.In order to achieve balanced urban-rural development and rural revitalization,it is crucial to clarify the role that the countryside can play in the Chinese new era,including domestic market,innovation and civilization,and make the right response.关键词
