Research progress of muscle electrical impedance technology in neuromuscular diseases

Abstract
Neuromuscular diseases involve damage or dysfunction of peripheral nerves and muscles that severely affect the quality of life of affected individuals.In most cases,functional imaging clinical evaluation tools such as magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),computed tomography(CT),dualenergy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)and ultrasonoply are used to diagnose disease and evaluate treatment effectiveness.Compared with other assessment techniques,electrical impedance myography(EIM)has the advantages of sim-plicity,quantification,application flexibility,repeatability,sensitivity to muscle degradation,etc.,so it is increasingly used in clinical evaluation.This review will briefly summarize the application of EIM to neuromuscular diseases.关键词
