Design and Verification of Thrust Reversers Efflux-pattern for Wing-mounted Layout Civil Aircraft Based on CFD

Abstract
The amount and direction of the reversed flow is controlled by changing the cascade baffles on cascade thrust reversers.Efflux-pattern describes the circumferential distribution of the exhaust flow from the thrust reverser cascades around a nacelle,which needs to meet the requirements of reverse thrust efficiency,re-ingestion characteristics and the effective flow area.In this paper,the design and verification of thrust reverser efflux-pattern were carried out for typical wing-mounted layout civil aircraft.Through CFD numerical simulation of the aircraft/engine integrated configuration,the path and the influence factors of the reverse thrust flow were analyzed,the re-ingestion flow physics of the reverse thrust flow was re-vealed,and the design scheme of the efflux-pattern was optimized.Through the wind tunnel test,it was verified that the efflux-pattern design scheme has no re-ingestion at the rolling speed of 65 kn.Meanwhile,it was verified that the CFD numerical simulation method can accurately predict the velocity boundary of the reversed flow re-ingestion and the inlet distortion region,and can be used for the design and verifica-tion of the thrust reverser efflux-pattern.关键词
