摘要

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of fermented tea feed on performance and egg quality of laying hens in the late phase.A total of 432 55-week-old Xinyang black-feathered laying hens were randomly divided into 3 groups,with 3 replicates in each group and 48 in each replicate.Tea leaves,soybean meal and corn were mixed well to produce fermented tea feed through microbial fermentation.The control group was fed with a basal diet,and the experimental groups were fed with the basal diet supplemented with 5%,10%fermented tea,respectively.The trial period was 8 weeks.The results showed that,after 2 weeks of feeding,the laying rates from higher to lower were that of the 10%fermented tea group,that of the 5%fermented tea group,and that of the control group;The average egg weight was in the opposite order.After 3 weeks of the experimental feeding,the feed to egg ratios from higher to lower were that of the control group,that of the 10%fermented tea group,and that of the 5%fermented tea group.Compared with that of the control group,the laying rate was increased and the feed to egg ratio was decreased significantly in the 5%fermented tea group(P<0.05),and the laying rate was increased and the average egg weight was decreased significantly in the 10%fermented tea group(P<0.05).After 6 weeks of the trial,the thick albumen proportion in the 10%fermented tea group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 8 weeks,the thick albumen proportion in the 10%fermented tea group was significantly lower than that in the 5%fermented tea group,and the thin albumen proportion was higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).Compared with those of the control group,the total cholesterol and malondialdehyde of the yolk in the 5%,10%fermented tea groups were significantly higher(P<0.05),while the superoxide dismutase activity was significantly higher(P<0.05).To sum up,5%fermented tea feed improved the performance and egg quality of laying hens in the late phase.
