Abstract
To investigate the interactive oscillation modes of line commutated converter based high voltage direct current(LCC-HVDC)system in split-connection mode and their damping characteristics,based on the system state space model and the motion equation model established in Part I,several weak-damping interactive oscillation modes featured by the strong coupling effects between electrical and control links at the inverter side are extracted.Also,the variation features of interactive oscillation modes under different short circuit ratio(SCR)conditions are studied.On this basis,the damping contribution from the self-stabilizing path of the rectifier/inverter-side and the en-stabilizing path of bipolar interaction to the dominant interactive oscillation modes are quantitatively evaluated by the complex torque coefficient method.The results show that,1)the damping ratios of the interactive oscillation modes will be redistributed under different SCR conditions.2)When the positive-pole SCR and negative-pole SCR at the inverter side are different significantly,the bipolar interaction is weak.The stability of the positive-pole and negative-pole system is dominated by the two interactive oscillation modes separately,and the stability characteristics are different.3)When the positive-pole SCR is close to negative-pole SCR at the inverter side,the dynamic interaction between the two poles is strengthened,in which case,interactive oscillation modes will dominate stability of the positive-pole system and negative-pole system simultaneously,presenting similar stability characteristics.关键词
