General Equivalent Magnetic Network Model of Surface Permanent Magnet Vernier Machine Based on Hybrid Medium Mesh

Abstract
In order to analyze the electromagnetic characteristics and parameters of surface permanent magnet vernier(SPMV)machine more quickly and accurately,a general equivalent magnetic network(GEMN)model is proposed in this paper.The key of the model is the introduction of hybrid medium mesh,which could divide the modulation tooth region into mesh elements with the same size along the circumferential direction,and realize the general modeling of the modulation tooth region of SPMV machine.Meanwhile,the connection of stator and airgap is determined by the GEMN model,which avoids the problem irregular connection between stator and airgap caused by transient simulation of the conventional equivalent magnetic network(EMN)model and reduced the simulation error.In addition,considering the local magnetic saturation phenomenon of the stator pole shoe,the stator pole shoe is divided into three parts based on its topology and flux density distribution,and the magnetic saturation region is subdivided to further improve the model accuracy.Finally,the GEMN model is used to calculate some electromagnetic properties of the SPMV machine,including the airgap flux density,flux linkage,back EMF and torque.The effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed model are verified by comparing the errors of the calculation results,finite-element analysis(FEA)results and experimental results.关键词
