Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of pioglitazone combined with human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 110 PCOS patients admitted to Sami Medical Center in Shenzhen from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with pioglitazone,and the observation group was treated with HCG.Ovarian improvement,serum sex hormone level,ovarian hemodynamic improvement,incidence of adverse reactions,spontaneous pregnancy rate and abortion rate within 1 year of follow-up were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the ovarian volume decreased,the number of follicles decreased,and the maximum follicle diameter increased in the two groups,and the change range was greater in the observation group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of luteinizing hormone(LH)and anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)were decreased,while the levels of estrogen(E2)and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)were increased in the two groups,and the change range was greater in the observation group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the peak systolic flow velocity(PSV)and end-diastolic flow velocity(EDV)of ovarian artery in the two groups were decreased,and the pulse index(PI)was increased,and the PSV,PI and EDV of ovarian artery in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Within 1 year of follow-up,the spontaneous pregnancy rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the spontaneous abortion rate was lower than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of pioglitazone combined with HCG in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome is significant,which can significantly improve the serum sex hormone level and ovarian hemodynamics,thus promoting ovulation,increasing the natural pregnancy rate of patients,and reducing the incidence of abortion.关键词
