Abstract
Siltation in Guanting Reservoir has adversely affected its safe operation,strategic water resource reserves,and water quality.Considering the unique characteristics of the Guanting Reservoir dredging project,such as significant water depth,extensive scale,and limited desilting area,this study addresses the primary issues caused by siltation in the reservoir.It analyzes the specific requirements for reservoir dredging,and,based on the urgency of siltation impact,proposes a phased implementation plan for desilting.Through pilot projects,it explores different dredging equipment,dewatering processes,and the utilization of sediment resources.The implementation process includes enhanced monitoring and evaluation,providing valuable experience for the continuous operation of large reservoirs with high sediment rates and significant mud volumes in the northern region.关键词
